I present to you my new concept..A Metro Start Menu Concept that i think is missing from what Microsoft presented until today with their Windows 8 CP. This is sick! I think you should work for Microsoft designing there GUI interface layout. Or actually I think we should use this for Linux!

The whole purpose of the new Windows 8 Start Screen is the live tiles, and the icons in your design are to small to show app updates. If you could come up with a better design than Microsoft did that incorporates live app updates then you should definitely transform it into an app.

Thanks for your feedback mate! Well this idea is based on just tiles (not live tiles) for the app shortcuts that could play the role of a metro start menu that microsoft removed from desktop's taskbar. I dont think they need to show updates since their purpose is different than the start ui live tiles. Due to their size also its something that is not allowing updates. But i like your proposal and your idea. Based on this you ask for a start menu that will show updates on live tiles right? This will make it much bigger though.. what do you think?
