Thanks My friend!! Yes these are rounded corners but are not a part of the idea..these are just tips for the preview needs..nothing more..if those were a part of the concept and were workable then these angles were going to be squared

so i wanted to show this difference between working and not working part..

Hey, this is very cool!

I still feel that there is a lot of discrepancy between the Metro UI and the Desktop UI in Win 8. Maybe some of the artists here can bridge that gap with a new theme!

thx bro..well you mean the desktops theme right? it doesnt fit with the metro ui..microsoft uses aero with metro but i dont think its a good idea..its something like little of this little of that..you can still check my other concepts. maybe you ll find something interesting!

is there i desktop on windows 8 ? all i have ever seen was this weird start menu or start screen as a touch screen but no desktop?
i my self use windows 7 and mostly i juts use vert pc and i run windows xp but 8 don't look that good to me whats different?

Yes buddy of course..windows 8 logs in metro start ui but there is a tile that takes you to normal desktop screen! same as 7 with some changes e.g there is no more start orb + start menu..thats why i made a concept based on that idea! win 8 are awesome..it has some small bugs, some critical changes i dont like but till now it seems to be an awesome OS you should try it!

I like it. So long as it doesnt replace the fullscreen start and the only way to activate it is via an old fashioned start button on the taskbar or to snap the start menu to the side panes, like you would with an app.
